Second Floor Addition
This was an existing Spanish Bungalow style home located in Sherman Oaks California.
My Vision: Was to take this 1930's home and give it a modern look.
By revamping the parapet around the existing roof. Above the master and garage, we will have a metal roof giving it a European twist since our client is from Amsterdam and would like to see something he grew up with. The fairly flat roof pitch and picture windows should put out nice modern sleek clean lines for exterior design.
Incorporating the same clean lines into its landscape using minimal grass for low maintenance but adding fine materials like cider wood and "basalt" a natural stone that looks to be wet but is not, of course, this was used for the exterior steps around spa and pool perimeter and 1" mosaic tile at water spillover drop from spa.
Strong and Bold Personality
The interior was designed in such a way that it gives a European vintage flair we played with raw unfinished materials such as concrete for the ceiling and on some interior walls to create interesting accent feature walls. This setting goes well with modern, vintage, European, or Scandinavian style interior furniture for a very strong and bold personality.

Home Addition and Remodel
Traditional Style Home
Interior was designed in such a way that it gives a larger feel by arching the new and current openings and raising the ceiling in the living room area.
The exterior was more of a traditional style with horizontal siding, white columns and white fencing that separates the patio area from the landscaping.
