Let us assist you with the process of designing your Accessory Dwelling Unit aka "ADA" or JADU.

We will provide measurements of records for your existing home to use as our base drawings to start your schematic design. After the design has been approved by the client we will send over to our Title 24 energy analysis, and structural engineering departments for calculations and details that may be required. Once we have all construction documentation and engineering finalized we will print and coordinate all plans to submit for plan check to obtain a building permit from the City or County. All revisions from the City or County are addressed as first priority. Everything you need from drafting+design+planning to acquire accurate estimates for your ADU project build.

Design+Engineering Services:

Include programming, preliminary schematic design, design development, construction drawings with specifications, and coordination of plans with our engineers to ensure a well-coordinated and responsible design. more info

Permit Processing:

We will gather and coordinate all construction documents and any applications to be filled out to submit your preliminary or final construction plans to all agencies involved in order to obtain your "building permit". more info

Construction Bidding & Negotiation:

PDC | Design+Drafting offers our clients a proven and simple bidding process to ensure the most responsive and qualified general contractor is selected. Drawing from our extensive network of qualified general contractors we specifically select at least three general contractors to prepare detailed bids for each project. more info
